Early Game Tips

Getting All The Archwood Trees

All the Archwood Saplings can be transmuted into each other by crafting them with some kind of essence.

Alternatively, they can also be bought from Farming for Blockheads' Market for 1 Emerald each.

Finding Amethyst

Create and use a Dowsing Rod to give you the Scrying Effect on Budding Amethyst blocks.
Travel around your area while looking down to find particles and dig towards them to find your first amethyst geode.
Alternatively, looking for Smooth Basalt or Calcite blocks on the floors of large ocean biomes can also prove fruitful.

This can also be used for blocks like AE2's Flawless Budding Certus, and Reinforced Deepslate which can be used to trap the Wither.

The Glyph of Pull is a cheap glyph, costing only one Fishing Rod and 3 Experience Levels that can be used to turn blocks into falling blocks.
By pulling a block into a location where it cannot fully land, such as in a button or slab, the block will be dropped. This can be used to easily obtain Budding Amethyst in item form for easy transportation.

Amethyst Farming

To perform a ritual, you need a Ritual Brazier and an appropriate ritual Tablet.
First place down the brazier, then right click the tablet on the brazier to insert it.
Right click once more with an empty hand to start the ritual.

Amethyst Golems will grow, harvest, and collect Amethyst near its Home Block.
To obtain an Amethyst Golem, perform the Ritual of Awakening near a block of Budding Amethyst.
This will turn the block into an Amethyst Golem Charm which can be used to summon an Amethyst Golem by using it on a block.

Functional Storage's Drawers and Sophisticated Storage's Limited Barrels are both great options for high-capacity single-type item storage.

After summoning, you will need to bind the golem to a home. This can be done by using a Dominion Wand first on the golem, then on their home.
It is recommended that their home is set to an inventory, as they will otherwise leave Amethyst Shards lying on the ground.
If their home is an inventory, they will also automatically stop harvesting when it is full.
